The Role

Valuation Senior Managers serve as members of various client service teams. Senior Managers must have strong technical knowledge of valuations of closely held companies, intangible assets, debt instruments, and other assets for tax and financial statement reporting, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, gift and estate, marital property and other purposes. Many of the valuations that are performed may be for marital property disputes such as divorce of high net worth clients and their entities.

 

Senior Managers must possess and maintain strong written and oral presentation skills, conduct research on various client issues, and supervise Managers, Senior Associates, Experienced Associates and Associates.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field;
  • Advanced credential preferred (i.e. CPA, JD, ASA, CVA or CFA);
  • At least 8 plus years of relevant work experience with an accounting, consulting or valuation firm, including at least 4 years of Valuation experience;
  • Leadership and organizational skills;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural facilitator;
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; and
  • Proficient use of technology including MS Excel.
