The Role

Senior Associates with the Corporate Tax Team serve on various engagement teams that work with a diverse client base, ranging from multi-national corporations to early stage startups.  

Senior Associates can expect to:

  • Engage in the consulting, compliance, and research processes;
  • Prepare Tax Returns and ASC 740 Provisions; and
  • Receive formal corporate tax training, on the job training, direct feedback from top tax leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree required in Accounting;
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0;
  • CPA credential or desire to become credentialed strongly preferred;
  • Experience with MS Excel, GoSystem RS, ProFx Engagement (or similar), CCH Checkpoint and/or BNA tax research platforms required;
  • At least 2-3 years' relevant work experience with an accounting firm;
  • Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills;
  • Initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; and
  • Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbally) with staff and clients regarding technical and nontechnical issues.
