The Role

Senior Managers can expect to:

  • Lead and manage the execution of financial due diligence engagements for clients;
  • Identify and help resolve complex transaction risks and issues;
  • Prepare and review reports and related analysis and deliverables;
  • Effectively communicate with target management teams and client personnel;
  • Supervise, train, mentor and evaluate Managers and Seniors Associates;
  • Engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients, etc.); and
  • Receive formal training related to Transaction Advisory, on the job training, direct feedback from industry leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.


Compensation and Benefits

 

Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in New York City, the expected salary range for this role is $145,000 to $248,200; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.

The Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics;
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar, are highly desirable;
  • At least 8 years relevant work experience with a Big Four or national consulting firm, including at least 5 years of financial due diligence experience;
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (i.e., GAAP, IFRS);
  • Strong technical knowledge of complex accounting, financial and transactional issues;
  • Proven leadership and strong organizational skills;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural facilitator;
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; and
  • Proficient use of technology including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI or other analytics software.
