The Role

Position Summary and Impact:

As the UX Lead Designer, you will drive the user experience for our digital products and services, focusing on innovative, user-centric designs that enhance satisfaction, retention, and growth for staff, clients, and their employees. You’ll lead UX design teams, collaborate across functions, and scale design excellence within a global enterprise. Your leadership will ensure best-in-class UX, optimizing design strategies through data-driven insights to boost user engagement and product effectiveness. Additionally, you'll guide market analysis and innovation, maintain a competitive edge, and mentor a high-performing, creative design team.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Comprehensive UX Strategy: Formulate and implement a cohesive UX design for our digital products and services, aligning with broader technology and business goals within Andersen’s Global Mobility practice. 
  • Design Leadership: Guide a distributed UX design team in delivering cutting-edge design solutions across our domains, products, and services Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities. 
  • Collaboration and Transformation: Collaborate with technology teams, product managers, service line leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of UX design into our products and services portfolio. Drive design-led transformation initiatives across the organization. 
  • Client Experience: Design and implement client-centric experiences that reflect our commitment to excellence and innovation. Create scalable design systems and processes that ensure consistency and efficiency across projects. 
  • Strategic Leadership: Guide and advise service line leaders and key stakeholders in building modern digital experiences Develop and execute strategies to transform our clients' businesses, leveraging design thinking to achieve business goals and foster resilience. 
  • Innovation and Market Leadership: Stay abreast of the latest UX design trends and methodologies to advance Andersen’s market leadership and drive continuous innovation and improvement in our design practices. 
  • Design Operations: Establish and optimize design processes, workflows, and tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the UX design team. 
  • Business Development: Support pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client workshops. Establish frameworks for integrating UX design into our service offerings, winning new business, and building strong client relationships. 

 

Compensation and Benefits

 

Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in San Francisco, the expected salary range for this role is $135,000 to $160,000; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

 

Benefits: Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our firm’s 401(k) plan upon hire. We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.

The Requirements

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, or a related field

-Minimum 5-7 years of experience in UX design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.  Proven track record of successful design-led transformations in professional services or consulting environments.

-Expert-level proficiency in UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and proficiency in data visualization and enterprise tool design 

-Excellent interaction, visual, and prototyping skills and ability to lead user research (both qualitative and quantitative) 

-Familiarity with agile methodologies and design thinking practices 

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated capability of building and maintaining strong relationships across all levels of the organization and with clients.  Strong focus on results, client-centric solutions, and innovative thinking.
