The Role

Andersen Consulting is seeking a Senior Manager in the Architecture practice. You will be engaging in the following:

  • Solutions Architecture: Collaborate with clients to design and implement innovative architecture solutions that drive business agility and product innovation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of architects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions and fostering professional growth.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with technical and product leads across clients to develop and implement product strategies and solve complex business problems with technology.
  • Market Alignment: Assist in structuring and designing the Architecture team to meet market needs, including industry and technology alignment.
  • Collaboration: Partner with other Andersen Consulting practices to develop joint go-to-market offerings.
  • Business Development: Support the establishment of Andersen Consulting's competitive position in the technology consulting space by driving new business opportunities and sales.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of new technologies and trends to keep Andersen Consulting at the forefront of innovation and change.
  • Strategic Growth: Contribute to the growth and expansion strategy of Andersen Consulting, including corporate development and acquisition activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Excellence: Ensure the delivery of high-quality architectural solutions by setting and maintaining standards and best practices.
  • Talent Development: Identify and nurture talent within the team, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Strong Facilitation: Enable effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation and project assignments to optimize team performance and meet client needs.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure the team delivers solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

Compensation and Benefits

 

Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in San Francisco, the expected salary range for this role is $230,000 to $270,000; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

 

Benefits: Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our firm’s 401(k) plan upon hire. We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in the consulting industry and a strong record of professional achievement and impact.
  • Experience in a senior management role at a consulting firm or an executive-level position in industry within an operational function.
  • Proven experience managing a technology team or architecture organization.
  • Experience in the areas of Architecture Design, Cloud Technologies, Software Development, System integration, DevOps & CI/CD, Data Management, Security.
  • A background in software engineering or related fields is highly beneficial, providing a strong foundation for understanding and guiding technical teams.
  • Ability to interact at the executive level while also being able to guide development resources
  • Experience building global workforces, including offshore delivery capabilities to help Andersen Consulting and our clients scale their ways of working.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in modern agile delivery and comfort working in a product-led organization
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to travel based on business need up to 50%
