The Role

Senior Associate, Intangible Asset Services

  • Research & Insight Generation: Conduct interviews, attend workshops and undertake thorough research on intangible assets such as data, brands, and content to support the development of actionable insights and effective strategies.
  • Quality Work Delivery: Develop and refine detailed deliverables—including reports, frameworks, and models—that meet high-quality standards and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborative Support: Partner with senior consultants and project leads to integrate research findings into cohesive, impactful outputs, contributing to the overall success of client engagements.

As a Senior Associate, Intangible Asset Services, within our Global Consulting Strategy Practice, you will be a key contributor in unlocking the potential of intangible assets such as data, brands, and content. Your focus will be on conducting deep research, synthesizing information, and producing high-quality deliverables that add value to every engagement. Working closely with project leads, you’ll help refine and apply frameworks that assess and enhance the value of clients’ intangible assets and deliver insights that inform strategic recommendations.

In this role, you will:

  • On-Site Engagement: Supported by senior team members, conduct on-site client interviews and actively participate in workshops to capture actionable insights, validate research approaches, and ensure our strategies effectively address real-world business challenges.
  • Deep Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on intangible assets and relevant industries to identify trends and opportunities. Apply quantitative and qualitative techniques to analyze complex information and develop actionable insights.
  • High-Quality Deliverables: Develop and implement proprietary frameworks and analytical models to accurately assess and value intangible assets. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and deliverables that meet rigorous quality standards and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborative Project Support: Partner with senior consultants and project teams to support the execution of large-scale engagements. Provide targeted analytical support throughout the project lifecycle to ensure our solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Methodology Enhancement: Assist in the continuous improvement of internal methodologies for assessing and managing intangible assets. Contribute to the development and refinement of robust analytical processes that drive innovation and precision in our work.

Compensation and Benefits

 

Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in Chicago, the expected salary range for this role is $82,480 - $169,480; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.

The Requirements

 

  • Educational Background: A solid academic foundation in business, economics and / or law.
  • Research & Communication Skills: Proven ability to conduct thorough research, synthesize complex information, and communicate findings effectively in written and verbal forms.

It would also be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience with financial modelling and valuation techniques, especially those specific to intangible assets.
